Ahmedabad Chain Snatching Cases: Under the leadership of Police Inspector J.H. Gadhvi, a dedicated surveillance team used CCTV footage and intelligence-based tracking to identify and apprehend the culprits.
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with these crimes:
- Vishnuji Pratapji Thakor (42): A rickshaw driver residing near Railway Colony No. 02, Rameshchandra Vakil Chali, Asarwa.
- Mahendra Jeevanlal Tapodhan (43): A Zomato delivery executive residing at B/309, Sun House Flat, Panchlok Chowk, Chandkheda.
The cases, registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), were reported at the Ahmedabad Railway Police Station across different instances in 2023 and 2024.

Ahmedabad Chain Snatching Cases: The police successfully retrieved 13 gold ornaments, including a gold chain, with a total weight of 254.5 grams and an estimated value of ₹13.01 lakh.
