Global creative platform Cininfo has announced the launch of the Cininfo Screenwriters Lab 2025, a 12-week, fully funded online writing program for emerging screenwriters. Created in partnership with the Sumitra Gupta Foundation for the Arts (SGFA), the Lab offers mentorship by some of the most celebrated names in Indian cinema, including Sudhir Mishra, Shonali Bose, Vijay Krishna Acharya, Richa Chadha, and Nikkhil Advani, who serves as the Program Advisor.
The lab is designed to fast-track early- to mid-career writers by offering hands-on experience, creative guidance, and potential access to production pathways.
“At a time when new voices are shaping the future of storytelling, initiatives like the Cininfo Screenwriters Lab are essential,” said filmmaker and advisor Nikkhil Advani. “I’m thrilled to mentor and guide these emerging talents as they find their unique voices.”

The Lab will accept 12 selected writers, offering them world-class mentorship and resources designed to help elevate their storytelling and bring their screenplays closer to production.
Founders Dina Mukherjee and Raghav Gupta emphasized their commitment to supporting fresh talent.
